State Cleaning Manager

Reporting to the Head of Cleaning, you will effectively manage all Cleaning service operations with in your designated region, ensuring the delivery of services meet City standards and specifications. You will demonstrate a robust knowledge of governance practices, pertaining to cleaning operations and compliance. You will develop enduring customer relationships and ensure KPI’s and OH&S requirements are met.



Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Conduct periodic audits in store, verifying cleaning activities are performed in accordance with agreed scope.
  • Ensure all cleaning services are delivered safely, efficiently and 100% aligned to specifications and compliance.
  • Liaise with Team Members regarding any OHS&E issues or grievances raised by team members or store employees.
  • Effectively manage and report on all compliance incidents.
  • Provide functional planning, management and communication between brand management and contractor resources, of area initiatives.
  • Develop a capable and strong operational Team with respect to skills and behaviours to meet current and future workload requirements. 
  • Afford support & guidance to the operational team on matters of operational maintenance tasks which could affect the wider maintenance function; ensuring all team members & contractors are aligned accordingly.
  • Establish an environment that encourages continuous improvement and quality outcomes.



 To be considered for this role you will have / be:

  • Experience in supervising and managing maintenance programs at a local level and multiple sites;
  • Proven expertise in managing service contracts and multiple suppliers;
  • Knowledge and understanding of retail operations & OH&S, compliance and essential services;
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to read and analyse financial reports and results;
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills;
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) - essential



Responsible for - Western Australia/ Southern Australia & Northern Territories. This role requires a regular visitation program to sites
